What Is Color Masterbatch?
A color masterbatch, or color concentrate, is a concentrated mixture of pigments and/or additives encapsulated during a heat process into a carrier resin
Colorants are classified into several categories: organic dyes, organic
pigments and inorganic pigments.
The concentration of pigments in the masterbatch is usually 20%~45%, Because the pigment has been uniformly dispersed in the resin when the masterbatch is produced, it has excellent dispersibility for plastic coloring.
The proportion of color masterbatch in plastic product is generally about 1-4%, and it is currently widely used in films, cables, sheets, pipes and synthetic fiber products.
